About us
The Federation of European Quarter Horse Associations (FEQHA) was founded in 1997. Today, the FEQHA includes 16 Quarter Horses Associations throughout Europe and Israel. The FEQHA is dedicated to the promotion of Quarter Horse breeding and showing, its main event being the European Championship of American Quarter Horses.
Each member country is represented at FEQHA meetings, which are held 2-4 times a year. Typically, there is a spring meeting at rotating locations, a meeting in Kreuth during the European Championship of Quarter Horses, and several virtual meetings throughout the year.
The FEQHA is governed by a board of three elected volunteers (President, Vice-President, and Treasurer), who serve two-year terms starting from the spring meeting, along with a secretary hired by the FEQHA.
